Rob Hazelton’s passion for affordable housing can be traced back 30 years when he founded Dominion Due Diligence Group (D3G) with a focus on providing solutions. He has vast experience with housing preservation as it relates to capital needs, architectural design, construction cost estimation, energy conservation, sustainability, resiliency, and environmental issues.  As CEO, he oversees more than 2,500 senior and affordable housing transactions annually.  Rob has spent most of his professional career working on HUD-assisted and LITHC projects and was a pioneer in HUD’s green/energy programs and the Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD).  Rob has been on the FHLB-Atlanta Affordable Housing Advisory Council (AHAC); active on multiple technical committees for HUD and the MBA; and, is a Fellow with the American Academy of Housing and Communities. Rob grew up on a Vermont dairy farm and is a graduate of Bucknell University.
