Rachel Snethen is the Director of Development Coordination at Gorman & Company, where she leads the development coordinator and marketing teams by providing training on the affordable housing process and provides mentorship, quality control, and implementing best practices across their national platform.  Rachel joined Gorman in 2010 and works to manage efforts between various funding partners through closing, construction, and stabilization of LIHTC, market rate, and workforce housing in addition to directing corporate marketing strategy and branding initiatives in collaboration with the Executive Team.  Rachel also works on the development of special projects involving market rate apartments, hotels, retail, restaurants, and other commercial uses.  

In addition to her focus on affordable housing, she also serves as a director for an EB-5 Regional Center, which recently raised $30 million from 60 individual foreign investors hailing from as far away as China, India, and Vietnam, to bring economic investment and creating jobs into a local community.  In her career, she has worked on lobbying efforts in the State of Wisconsin and Washington D.C. for continuation and improvement of the EB-5 program, disability rights, and affordable housing advocacy.

Rachel is a proud member of Gorman & Company's DEI Committee and Gorman's Executive Leadership Team.  In 2023, Rachel was named as a Top 40 Under 40 Leader by InBusiness Madison Magazine in addition to being a 2023 Athena Nominee.  Rachel currently belongs to the Government Relations Committee for the National MS Society to advocate for legislative changes for those living with disabilities and multiple sclerosis, a member of Commercial Real Estate Women – Wisconsin (WCREW), and is currently working on founding the Wisconsin Chapter of the Women’s Affordable Housing Network (WAHN).
