Laura Surdel is a Senior Managing Director of Equity Production at Boston Financial. She offers over 20 years of experience in low-income housing tax credit acquisitions and underwriting. Laura is responsible for the origination, financial structuring, and negotiating of LIHTC transactions and has extensive experience in closing transaction across the county from Massachusetts to California. To date, Laura has successfully invested over $3 billion of equity in affordable housing. Prior to joining Boston Financial in 2020, Laura grew her career for 18 years within the Acquisition Department at Boston Capital. Laura’s clients include nonprofits as well as for profit developers. Laura holds a BA in Economics and Math from Bowdoin College and an MBA from Babson College.
