Jo Ellen McNamara has more than 25 years of experience in local governmental, non-profit and for-profit management of community programs and health-related organizations including community-based behavioral health services, affordable housing development and operations, Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) and community development corporations (CDCs). Jo Ellen joined NEF in 2022 with a focus on the relationship between housing and healthcare to create healthy, safe and sustainable communities. She works with the goal of bringing together healthcare organizations, housing partners serving vulnerable community members and the affordable housing experts at NEF. She holds a Master of Science in Health Innovation and Community Assets from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Cleveland State University.
