Senior Director of Asset Management
Darnell Williams is the Senior Director of Asset Management for Eden Housing, who is a non-profit leader in the California affordable housing sector –with approximately 10,000 units under ownership and management. He is responsible for the daily oversight of the Asset Management team, which oversees Eden’s portfolio of assets totaling $2 billion with combined annual operating revenue of more than $175 million. His team is responsible for all Asset Management functions including portfolio oversight to ensure financial sustainability, regulatory compliance, external reporting, capital & reserve planning, limited partner buyouts, refinances, and green/solar portfolio initiatives. He manages various relationships with Eden’s stakeholders, agency partners, investors, and the greater financial community.
Darnell has nearly 12 years of direct Asset Management experience from various roles and capacities in affordable and market rate housing with non-profit and for-profit organizations. Prior to joining Eden, Darnell held various Asset Management roles –most recently with The Bascom Group where he led the execution of value-add business plans for a portfolio of multifamily communities. Previously, he worked for Mid-Pen Housing and EPMI (A.F. Evans management company) where he progressively gained knowledge and experience in real estate finance and portfolio oversight.
Darnell is a member of Eden’s Extended Leadership Team and serves on various property Board of Directors for Eden. He received his degree in Justice Systems and Business Administration from Truman State University.
