Beth Stohr is director of Affordable Housing for U.S. Bancorp Community Development Corporation (USBCDC) managing all investments in and loans to affordable rental housing for USBCDC. USBCDC is an active investor and lender in the affordable housing sector under the IRS Section 42 Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program (LIHTC). In addition to LIHTC, USBCDC makes tax credit-based investments using Historic, NewMarkets and Alternative Energy credits nationwide. The CDC has over $30 billion in tax credit-related investments comprised of direct and fund investments.
Stohr has been in real estate finance for over 35 years, working at predecessor banks to U.S. Bank and Bank of America. She has been with U.S. Bancorp CDC since 1997. She serves, and has served, on the boards of a number of affordable housing trade organizations and non-profit groups including Affordable Housing Investors Council, Affordable Housing Tax Credit Coalition, Enterprise Community Investment, Father Support Services, RISE and Nerinx Hall.
Stohr received her master’s in management from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University in Chicago.
