Kate Ferguson

Bio:

Kate Ferguson is Senior Vice President of Asset Management at Mercy Housing, one of the nation's largest nonprofit affordable housing providers, where she leads asset management strategy across the organization's portfolio. She brings deep expertise in affordable housing finance, having served as Director of Underwriting Multifamily Risk at Fannie Mae, where she developed compliance frameworks for the Multifamily Loan Portfolio. Kate also served as Director of Multifamily Programs at the California Housing Finance Agency, where she led a team of 40 overseeing Tax-Exempt Bond/4% LIHTC execution, CalHFA's Multifamily Conduit, and permanent lending and subsidy programs. Earlier in her career, she managed commercial real estate underwriting and credit at BBVA Compass, with a portfolio spanning LIHTC, NMTC, and EQ2 lending. Kate holds an MBA in International Business from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Denver's Daniels College of Business.
