John Lee

Bio:

John Lee is Managing Director of Investor Relations and Funds Management at Hunt Capital Partners LLC (HCP). He has more than 20 years of experience in the affordable housing industry. Lee is primarily responsible for overseeing the Investor Relations department that builds and maintains HCP’s investor relationships and the Funds Management department that prepares, analyzes and monitors financial projections for all operating partnerships and fund level investments. Additionally, he is responsible for overseeing both federal and state tax credit syndication activities which include working with investor partners and attorneys structuring proprietary and multi-investor fund investments. While at HCP, he contributed to the development of the state tax credit syndication platform, allowing federal and state tax credit investors to allocate funds efficiently. This initiative optimized equity for projects and delivered attractive returns to investors. Prior to joining HCP, Lee was an underwriter for a nationally recognized nonprofit tax credit syndication firm and an accountant at Novogradac & Company. Lee is a graduate of the University of California at Irvine.
